Proton Jebat

This here is the new Proton Jebat concept which was derived from the Proton Inspira, which was originally derived from the Mitsubishi Lancer. Looks cool eyh?

The Proton Jebat concept has to make it to the production lines. Dual tones could use some reworking but other than that, it looks like it's ready to speed. Ride height's lower and the bodykit looks better than the Evo X's in my opinion. One thing that's uncertain is heart of it under it's hood. Perhaps the current Evo's 4B11T 2.0L?

Other concepts were displayed too at the KLIMS '10 but here are the other 2 that I liked.

So lately I've been in a band called Sue & Her Boys as they're drummer. Yes I play the drums.
We're mainly a rock 'n' roll band doing covers from rock 'n' roll rockstars from the past such as AC/DC, Guns n' Roses and also newer, more contemporary rock bands. (No time to write our originals yet :P).

We've also performed at a few gigs. The first was a huge one at Stadium Bkt Jalil. The event was called "Relay for Life". Some charity event with line ups of other awesome bands. Also we did performed at No Black Tie for a charity event by PAWS. Even more awesome line up there too. We also did a few small gigs at Jaya One's The Bee cafe for the Unplugged open mic night hosted and organized by IACT PARTS club once a month.

Our upcoming gig is gonna be at The Library @ The Curve on the 23rd of Sept. It's gonna be a huge one for us too because it's gonna be our first paid gig. Yay. They're actually paying us to perform and we didn't charge em' cheap :P Next major one after that hopefully would be all the way in Hard Rock Hotel, Penang with a big cheque waiting for us. Sounds a bit too ambitious and far for us but we're gonna take up that challenge anyways!

We're also gonna be featured in a local magazine (forgot the name). A write up is gonna be done on the band and stuff. More publicity. Lol.

Due to the price drop in the market, a Canon EOS 1000D SLR camera with 18-55mm kit lens would only cost you only around RM 1.8k - RM 1.9k, brand new.

So my point is, since I'm still trying to sell off the camera, have to go cheaper right? Not really much of a choice here though quite reluctant lah.

1. People that don't see the importance of internet security and pc protection are stupid.
Got a 101 viruses? Too bad.

2. Happy that Malaysia's bringing in more exotic cars recently. Been seeing cars that I thought would never appear on M'sian shores (3 years ago). Examples? Audi R8, Ferrari 599, Mirage GT, Shelby GT500 KR... More american muscles are much welcomed :)

3.I need a new place to stay -_-'

4. My new laptop's like freakin' awesome lah! hahaha. New Dell Inspiron - 15.6"High definition screen and Processor's a new Intel i5 which can turbo boost up to 2.53Ghz (wished I could opt for an i7 instead). Eat that. Plus an ATI HD 4330 video card for smoother graphics. Only thing left is that I need more RAM...

5. Too many great movies to watch this year... Cant keep up.

6. Loving college and mates a lot :) They're so awesome. hahaha.

7. I'm gonna be an Audio Engineer. hopefully -_- in like 3 years.

8. Today is our 6th month! Wow.. it's been half a year huh? :) More to come!

CNY - Shaff's car breakdown

Wow I guess this was the most happening CNY I've ever had. Not coz I spent lotsa time with my family and relatives but because I've been getting so much "retarder" after chilling with Shaff and the guys for like erm... every single day? It was just great getting to spend time with them, going to different places all over KL/PJ, playing pool, shooting heads, talking crap and stuff.

On Tuesday night if I'm not wrong, me, Shaff, Mamak, Amsyar and Black were on the way back from Ludwig and Andro's place in Sunway. I was in Shaff's car while the others were in Mamak's. On the way back while we were somewhere on the Sprint highway, Shaff and Mamak decided to go for a sprint race. Then ya la what else... race lah since no cars were on that long stretch of road. Both cars were battling at 180 km/h, almost maxing out their car's engine capabilities by the sounds of the engines. After like 10 mins of racing, Shaff's car, which is a Persona 1.6 decided to give up on him. The car gradually slowed down and Mamak was the clear winner lah in his Waja. We stopped at the side of the highway and did all we can to inspect and examine the car. After awhile, first help came. It was the highway patrol people I think. They tried to inspect the car, came out with a few problems (battery, petrol injection) but couldn't do anything. Then out of no where, a tow trucked just appeared. Can't do anything what, let the fella tow lah. First price he gave to us was RM150, then we pretended we got no money and said we only had 93 bucks altogether then he let us off with 90 bucks. Towed the car all the way to Desa Pandan near Shaff's place, left it there and went home. The day after, me, Mamak and Shaff went back to the car again to try to do something about it. Mamak and me went to get some petrol and came back to the car. Filled it up and the car started. Stupid car's petrol indicator a bit out lo. So that's about it lah. After that, we headed to Ampang to enjoy some rojak and cendol and played pool after.

Back to college next week! IACT here I come :D

Hello people! It's been over a month.
Sorry for my lack of updates.
Life's been good so far.
Many things had been going on, both the goods and the bads.
Doesn't really matter. I'm still very much alive with a smile on my face now :)

Been enjoying college life so far other than the assignments of course.

Never thought that day would actually come. Mr Shafiq Adzlan a.k.a Dugong recently got himself his very own DSLR. An Olympus E520. Inspired by me konon and he thinks that weilding a DSLR is cool.

Went out with that noob yesterday night to D'Jewel, fomerly known as Cravens to teach him some basics on how to manually use a DSLR since he was lazy to study the manual by himself. Not an easy task for me since it's my first time operating an Olympus so before teaching him, I had to teach myself how to use it. Lol.

Learning how to use a DSLR properly

After teaching him the basics (selecting shutter speed, metering, iso speed selection, aperture, white balance and stuffs), we decided to head up to Lookout Point in Hulu Langat since that place has one of the best view of the KL skyline especially at night. At first, we stopped at the side of the road (before reaching the tower) for some roadside shots.

Though these cars may not have huge, powerful, gas thirsty engines, they are amazingly quick and very agile. Why? The answer is because these cars are built using only lightweight materials. A lotus Elise weighs in at only 860 kilos.
Lightweight = Fast acceleration, better power to weight ratio, agile and nimbler around tight corners.

Me favorite is still the Lotus Evora - see under cars in the tabs section on the right hand side of this page

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution variants.

Was browing through some random people's Facebook profiles just now and my attention was stolen by some random car photographer dude. Knowing I love cars a lot, I couldn't help but view all his pictures and there's this album about some Lancer owners' club gathering in Genting and there were so many EVOs! Literally drooled at the sight of all those modified cars man.

I like the 2nd EVO (Evo IX) from the right. Got a pretty awesome Voltex kit.

Though these cars may only have a small 2.0 L turbocharged engine, they pack an enormous amount of power. Around a race track, these cars are fast and agile enough to compete with a Lamborghini Murcielago that has an engine size that's more than 3 times bigger than an EVO (6.2 L)

BMW E60 M5

Looks like a normal luxurious BMW E60 5-series doesn't it? Well, it's not. This is a BMW M5 (E60). A higher performance version of the regular 5-series from BMW Motorsport.

Basic specs:
Engine : 5.0 L V10
Acceleration : 0 - 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds
Top speed : 330 km/h (205 mph) with speed limiter removed.
Power : 500 bhp @ 7750 RPM

The BMW M5 is a freaking beast. Top speeds at 205 mph? That's like way faster than a Ferrari F430 that does a max of 192 mph.

Trivia:
G-Power — This German based tuning company has recently released a powerful twin-supercharged variant of the E60 M5 called the "G-Power Hurricane M5". This company claims to have produced the worlds fastest M5. This claim can rightfully be made considering that this variant of the M5 boasts over 751 bhp and has set the world record for the fastest Sedan with a top speed of 367.4 km/h (228.3 mph).

Ahh... I'm so lazy to type.
Few days back, my maid caught a locust or a grasshopper or whatever you call it and fed that thing to one of my hamsters! It was really disgusting having to see my hamster tear it up alive.

Our first year

23rd of May, 2008. That Friday was the day or rather the night I asked Ashleigh Reign Leong Xiu Jing a.k.a Ashy to be my girlfriend.

Freaky, coz last time, I've always liked her from afar and never dared show any sign of interest in her and I never thought that I would be able to get someone as beautiful as her to be my girlfriend. Anyway, as time passes, we kind of started to open up more to each other, talked a lot more, hanged out often, got to know each other better and gotten much closer to each other. So, one day, I decided that it's time to be the man and confess my feelings for her (cheyy..) and so I did! And there it was, the moment. I confessed and asked her and she gave me a straight YES. I was so happy at that moment.

In a relationship, it isn't always easy going and smooth sailing.

Not easy at all really. We had our share of fights and arguments even on the smallest of issues, time outs and even "broken up" and gotten back together. Immature. I know. lol. But yeah, at the end of the day, we still sort things out, forgive each other and our love still carries on =) We've gone through lots of things together, memories, both bad and good will always be treasured in my heart.

I don't normally write romantic stuff and all but...

Ashleigh. You have made a difference in my life. I've learnt so much just by going through my life together with you everyday but I know for sure that the learning never stops. I've learnt to see how your imperfections make you perfect and wonderful in

my eyes. You've done so much for me and I can't thank you enough for it. Being there for me when I needed you, listening to my stupid lame and not funny jokes, sacrificing and getting out of your comfort zone to keep me happy and many other things! Baby,

I can never thank you enough for all you've done for me. I love you and you're the best!

Seriously.
I'm now using a Toshiba Satellite M200
Nowadays, my laptop's battery span can only last 30 mins or less on it's own. That's coz I've never taken any lengths to preserve its battery life by not overcharging it and charging it at the suitable time.
Other than that, My laptop only has an integrated graphic card and won't be able to support games that require a decent or high amount of graphical requirements.
Sigh...
I hope my mom would agree on getting me a new and better one as she's thinking about it still and if I were to get one, it might be the Dell Studio XPS 13

Life without internet is hell for me. This week, starting on Monday, I've went back to live in my home in DU for studies. So after I've got there and settled my stuff down, I decided to go online in my room because that home provides Wi-Fi connection. So I grabbed my laptop and tried to connect to the network. Yes, it could connect but it stops at the network (Local only connection). After several frustrating attempts to connect to the internet, I asked my cousin, Alvina who lives in the same house with me, if she could connect to the internet. She said she couldn't either. So we went to ask the owner of the house on what's wrong with the internet connection and he told us that there's something wrong with either the router or the modem. To cut the whole story short, I stayed there from monday till today (Thursday) without any access to the internet at home. So me and my cousin had to make a few trips to OldTown to use their Wi-Fi service to satisfy our internet cravings but kinda dissapointing as the connection tends to snap at times. Almost all the Wi-Fi spots are oddly down in Damansara Uptown area for example +wondermilk, the coffee place and even in college.

Just now while I was walking out of my bathroom after my shower, I noticed my dad trying to catch something on the floor in the dining area. I thought it was just his usual hobby of catching funny looking insects and keeping it in some transparent container for our viewing pleasure. Anyway out of curiosity, I went and check out what he was trying to catch and to my horror, it was a centipede. It was quite big by the looks of it. I was actually so afraid of the possibility that there may be other centipedes around that I went and put on my shoes and walked around in them in my house until my maid scolded me. Anyway, that poor thing is being held captive in my mini fish tank now :) so, i took some photos of it!

Later that night, me, my sis, Ashy and her family went to Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil to spectate Calvary Church's 'The Easter Story: He is Alive!'. Bumped into a few church members there. Overall, it was very good. Everyone could sing and act very well and the way they present the musical was just amazing! Managed to take a few photos of the event and i'll be posting them up soon in my next post.

Easter! Yes. We've just had our Easter Celebration in church just now and it was great. This year, we had a home-grown choir group perform alongside a narrator to bring the true story of Easter to the audience.

I was part of the choir group as a musician (drummer) and it was quite an experience as it was my first time playing for a choir group. Surely all our hard work and numerous sessions of practices paid off as we did really well I hope.
